Your new company A foreign securities firm is looking for Analyst/ Associate to join their Financial Markets Settlement & Trade Operations team.
Your new role
Oversee pre-matching and fails management across all business lines, including derivatives, interest rate derivatives (IRS), FX, fixed income, collateral/margin calls, securities lending (Fixed Income & Equity SBL), and Total Return Swap activities.
Manage trade settlement input, monitoring, and reconciliation to ensure timely and accurate completion.
Prepare and confirm fixed income trade documentation, supporting KYC processes where required.
Administer securities lending and OTC collateral exposure, including triparty collateral instructions and monitoring.
Track and resolve cash and stock breaks within strict daily deadlines.
Monitor corporate actions and dividend key dates to mitigate risk and ensure accurate processing.
Investigate and process interest claims and market penalties in a timely manner.
Identify, escalate, and manage risks within the scope of responsibilities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
Support system enhancements and projects through regression and UAT testing in collaboration with trading system IT teams.
Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives across operations.
Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Senior Management.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree holder in Business Administration or related disciplines
3-5 years' relevant experience in a related field.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel (VBA, Macros, pivot tables, dynamic tables, etc.)
Knowledge of Murex, Euroclear, Bony, Swift, ISM, Bloomberg or Refinitiv systems desirable.
Previous experience in securities lending or OTC derivatives is desired but not essential.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word processing
