We are seeking a proactive Assistant Manager (Wealth Investment Operations) to enhance our banking client's wealth management division. This role will focus on overseeing investment transaction processing, ensuring accuracy in portfolio management, and supporting the strategic execution of wealth products. Key responsibilities include monitoring daily investment operations, reconciling client accounts, facilitating trade settlements, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize service delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a client-centric approach, and expertise in compliance with financial regulations to drive operational excellence and client satisfaction in a dynamic wealth management environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform nominee functions on securities custodian and corporate event services including share offers, rights issues, bonus issues, dividend elections and other distributions.
• Handle IPO application, allotment allocation and refund.
• Manage cash reconciliation between CCASS/ Registrar and internal record.
• Prepare notification letter for voluntary events such as Scheme of Arrangement, Privatization, Redemption Offer, Preferential Offer, Compulsory Acquisition, Clawback Offer, Cancellation of Listing, etc.
• Manage securities settlement with counterparties.
• Assist Team Lead to overview the daily work and ensure all are completed on schedule.
• Participate in system enhancement testing.
• Update Policy and Procedures as well as SOP if there is any change.
• Oversee the review and enhancement of internal operation procedures for both new and existing business operations.
• Communicate with internal and external parties to solve all settlement problems.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of settlement operational experience in securities or related firm.
- Proven experience with cash management and reconciliation processes.
- Self-motivated, be responsible and able to work independently.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
