Job description
1. Strategic Leadership & Management:
- Provide direct leadership for settlement, cash management, and wealth management operations services.
- Develop and execute the operational strategy, aligning with the firm's overall business objectives.
- Represent the Operations department in key committees and projects, serving as the primary deputy and delegate for the Head of Operations.
2. Operational Control & Oversight:
- Ensure the accurate and timely settlement of all securities, foreign exchange, and derivative transactions across global markets.
- Maintain a robust control environment, ensuring all processes are performed in strict compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
3. Client & Business Partnership:
- Act as a senior point of escalation for complex client issues, working directly with Senior Management to ensure swift and satisfactory resolution.
- Foster a strong, collaborative partnership with Front Office, Risk and Compliance departments to deliver an integrated service.
4. Process Innovation & Change:
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and data analytics to automate processes.
- Lead and manage strategic projects, including system implementations, platform migrations, and market change initiatives.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of settlement operational experience in securities or related firm.
- Proven experience with cash management and reconciliation processes.
- Self-motivated, be responsible and able to work independently.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
