Role Summary
A detail‑oriented QA Tester role ensuring the quality and reliability of financial technology solutions, with a focus on test automation, system validation, and domain expertise in core banking services.
Company Overview
FORMS International is a cross-border Fintech Thought Leader and Enabler, serving financial institutions in Hong Kong and overseas. The organization is the international arm of FORMS SYNTRON and comprises over 2,000 Fintech talents specializing in banking and finance technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual and automated)
- Apply software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques to validate system functionality and performance
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across financial applications
- Validate workflows in CSD services including collateral management, securities issuance, trading and settlement, corporate actions, and cash management
- Collaborate with system developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Implement and maintain test automation tools to improve efficiency and consistency
- Verify compliance with SWIFT messaging standards (MT and MX)
- Document test results, track defects, and provide clear reporting to project teams and management
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years working experience in software testing
- Proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Proven experience in developing test plans, test scripts, and performing software testing
- Domain knowledge in CSD services and financial operations
- Good knowledge of IT in Java programming / Oracle programming, task management and tuning / Web‑based application architecture / Open API and microservices / JSON and XML / Cybersecurity measures relating to web applications / Test automation tools
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging (MT and MX)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in liaising with system developers
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Fast learner with adaptability to new technologies
- Good command of English and Cantonese; fluency in Putonghua preferred
