Your new role
  • Support the Markets Strategies and Investments team in managing the private wealth management product shelf
  • Conduct ongoing product monitoring, management reporting and prospectus management
  • Perform due diligence on new and existing investment products across asset classes
  • Analyse financial statements and conduct annual reviews of bond issuers and listed companies
  • Assess product structures, complexity and risks across equity, fixed income, ETFs, indices and structured products
  • Monitor market trends using research reports, trading data and industry events
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to stay aligned with regulatory changes, internal policies and product developments
  • Review the full product life cycle to ensure regulatory and internal compliance
  • Participate in projects aimed at enhancing investment product processes and controls


What you'll need to succeed
  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
  • More than two years of relevant experience within banking, ideally in private banking or wealth management
  • Solid knowledge of investment products including fixed income, equities, structured products, alternatives and OTC derivatives
  • Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills, with experience assessing investment value from a private banking perspective
  • High attention to detail with the ability to evaluate product, risk and regulatory considerations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and VBA programming
  • Strong English communication skills; Cantonese or Mandarin language capabilities are a definite advantage.
