We are working with an MNC Insurer, long-established and highly reputable player in the Hong Kong insurance and financial services market.
We are seeking a high-calibre Business Analyst to join our client's Life & Health Digital Solutions team.
You will drive digital transformation initiatives, gather & analyse business requirements, and work closely with IT, operations, distribution, and external vendors to deliver enhanced customer experiences and operational efficiency in life, medical, and critical illness products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business analysis for major projects including new product launches, policy servicing enhancements, digital onboarding, and core system upgrades
- Conduct detailed requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and documentation (BRD, FRD, use cases, user stories)
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across business units, actuarial, underwriting, claims, and compliance
- Support UAT planning & execution, ensuring solutions align with business needs and regulatory requirements (IA guidelines, HKMA, etc.)
Requirements
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry (life/health insurance preferred)
- Solid understanding of life insurance products, policy administration systems, and distribution channels
- Strong experience in requirements elicitation, process modelling (BPMN), and agile methodologies
- Excellent command of written & spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus
