Job Title: Junior Lawyer, Legal Secretary or PRC Lawyer (IP or Anti-Trust practice or experience required)

Harbridge Partners is pleased to partner with a top law firm, that is seeking to expand its IP, Anti-Trust and Corporate Finance/ M&A practices.
Working with world class lawyers (Partners and Senior Associate levels), we are seeking an experienced Legal Manager, Para-Legal or PRC or recently Foreign Qualified lawyer to support and in some instance manage very interesting and sometimes case-law defined IP and/ or Anti-Trust / Monopoly and / or Corporate Finance / M&A cases.
You would ideally have previous PRC law firm experience and seeking to expand on and enhance your IP/ Anti-Trust legal expertise.
You may alternatively have previously worked for an IP/ Patent consultancy and seek to move into a legal role, and would have excellent University / Undergraduate background with a top PRC or international red-brick University.
Fluency in Mandarin is a must as is above average English writing and drafting skills.
Description:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and banking or corporate finance and exchange filing documentation (no HKEX experience is acceptable) , including applying for patents rights and so on . Ensure all contracts align with the company's legal and clients business interests.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory developments in the securities industry. Advise or support lawyers with research and advisory work particularly with a focus on IP and Anti-Trust cross border and international scope.
- Oversee internal legal case management and data management.
- Assist in and help resolve legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Work closely with clients as needed..
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide legal support for HK and other offices
- Provide ad-hoc and specialized support, and a willingness to learn new legal practice areas as may arise.
Qualifications:
- Qualified PRC lawyer or graduate legal background with full working rights in HK (IANG and TTTPS candidates will be considered).
- Strong prior legal firm or in-house experience in the HK or Mainland China or another jurisdiction with focus on IP , Anti-Trust or Anti-Monopoly cases .
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience with cross-border transactions and international legal issues.
- Native level written and spoken Mandarin (Simplified Chinese)
