Job Description: Insurance Business Analyst / Project Manager (Agent Training & Operations Projects)

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Business Analyst (SBA) and Project Manager / PMO to join a fast‑paced insurance transformation team. This role will focus on agent training initiatives, agency operations projects, and enterprise insurance systems, working closely with frontline agents, business stakeholders, and IT teams.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support agent training and enablement projects, including process improvements and system enhancements
  • Act as a key liaison between insurance agents, business users, and project teams, managing relationships and expectations in a demanding environment
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for insurance-related projects (e.g. agency systems, ePOS, product platforms)
  • Manage or support end-to-end project delivery, including scope, timeline, risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Coordinate with vendors, internal IT teams, and business users to ensure successful implementation and rollout
  • Support PMO activities such as project tracking, reporting, governance, and stakeholder communication
  • Handle challenging stakeholder interactions professionally - including frontline agents with strong opinions - while maintaining delivery focus
  • Ensure project deliverables align with business objectives, compliance, and operational needs


Job Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience as an Insurance Business Analyst, Project Manager, or PMO
  • Insurance industry background is highly preferred, especially in agency, distribution, or agent-facing projects
  • Hands-on experience in agent training projects, agency systems, ePOS, or insurance product-related initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills - attitude and professionalism are critical
  • Comfortable working in high‑pressure environments with diverse stakeholders, including frontline agents
  • Solid understanding of project lifecycle management and/or business analysis practices
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Cantonese and English required; Mandarin is a plus
