Our client is a globally established provider of financial and insurance services, operating across multiple international markets. They are expanding their technology team and are looking for a highly experienced Full Stack Developer to support the development of enterprise-grade platforms, with a particular emphasis on New Business and Underwriting systems. Familiarity with Claims-related applications is advantageous but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement full-stack applications, integrating frontend components, backend services, and cloud infrastructure.
- Engage in technical planning and system architecture discussions to support new feature development.
- Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, refactoring, and adherence to modern development standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Apply secure coding practices, including identity management, data protection, and threat mitigation.
- Maintain high standards of code clarity, documentation, and production stability.
- Contribute to Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in full stack development, with 3 years in a technical leadership or mentoring role.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Frontend: Angular, React, JavaScript
- Backend: Node.js
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure (including AKS), Azure DB
- Databases: Oracle (PL/SQL), Portal DB (preferred)
- Scripting: UNIX shell scripting
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and RESTful API development.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Exposure to Alibaba Cloud is a plus.
