Discover the below opportunities open to you: Job Description - Lead the identification, evaluation, and due diligence of private market alternative investment funds, with a strong focus on delivering superior risk-adjusted returns.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of private market investment strategies, market trends, and the regulatory environment especially in Asia and globally.
- Collaborate with portfolio management and advisory teams to integrate alternative funds into client portfolios effectively.
- Manage relationships with fund managers, conducting thorough qualitative and quantitative assessments on an ongoing basis.
- Monitor performance and risk of selected funds and provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal investment policies.
- Mentor and lead junior analysts within the fund selection team.
Requirements - Minimum 10 years of experience in fund selection or portfolio management with a demonstrated focus on alternative investments.
- Strong knowledge of alternative asset classes including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and infrastructure.
- Proven track record in fund due diligence, manager selection, and portfolio construction.
- Extensive understanding of the Asia-Pacific investment landscape, especially Hong Kong regulatory environment.
- CFA, CAIA designation or equivalent professional qualifications strongly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Capacity to provide advisory services across traditional and alternative asset classes and speak competently to clients on multiasset solutions at a holistic level
