About the team

The Hong Kong Human Resources Section is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management across the Hong Kong office.

Role requirements

  • Support HR Business Partners in driving people agenda for various businesses / departments, ensuring resourcing effectiveness and handling daily recruitment activities including but not limited to handling the end-to-end hiring process, conducting job interviews, maintaining agency list, managing the whole onboarding process, and issuing employment related documents.
  • Facilitate in the process of talent acquisition, performance management, salary review, manpower planning and employee relations.
  • Handle payments and regular reports such as hiring updates, staff movements, headcounts and organizational structure.
  • Handle staff enquiry and give advice to staff particularly on HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the streamline and continuous improvement of HR work processes and any assigned HR projects or initiatives.

Essential Functions

Reporting to Head of Human Resources Section, the HRBPs will partner with business managers to translate business strategy into people strategy, advise managers on HR best practices and solutions for manpower planning, talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, resourcing matters, talent development, employee relations, performance and reward management as well as compliance of all HR matters.

The HRBP support (AVP) will assist the HRBPs to drive the above people / HR initiatives.

  • We are looking for an individual who has solid experience in supporting HRBP and recruitment;
  • He/she is thorough, detail-minded;
  • He/she has strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills;
  • He/she is an excellent team player and has an innovative spirit;
  • He/she has proven ability to meet recurring deadlines and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner;
  • The individual should put into practice Mizuhos mission, vision, values, and clearly delivers them to the Team;
  • The individual respects for and commits to high standards of business conduct and integrity in conducting operations/ reporting, etc.

Work experience, education and skills

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related disciplines;
  • At least 8 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably from Banking;
  • Good computer skills in Excel, Microsoft Word and Powerpoint;
  • Proficiency in English and Cantonese.
