A foreign securities firm is looking for Analyst - Senior Associate to join their Cash Securities Trade Support & Settlement team.
Your new role
- Validate and confirm daily cash securities trades (equities, bonds, ETFs) executed by the front office
- Monitor trade flow from execution to settlement, ensuring accuracy in booking and reporting
- Resolve trade breaks, unmatched trades, and discrepancies with brokers, custodians, and clearing houses
- Manage settlement instructions in accordance with market deadlines and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with custodians, brokers, and clearing houses to ensure timely settlement of trades
- Perform cash and stock reconciliations, investigating and resolving differences promptly
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, market regulations, and operational risk standards
- Escalate settlement issues, failed trades, and potential risks to management
- Participate in system UAT, workflow enhancements, and automation initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline
- 2-5 years of experience in cash securities operations, trade support, or settlement
- Strong knowledge of equities, fixed income, and settlement cycles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
