We're looking for a skilled System Engineer (Cloud) to support one of our largest financial in-house clients.
Your new role
- Manage and maintain private cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, load balancers, and related subsystems.
- Perform capacity planning, regular maintenance, and patch management to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents.
- Support and manage public cloud environments, including monitoring, deployment, and problem resolution.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation such as standard operating procedures, system configurations, and disaster recovery plans.
- Participate in infrastructure projects, technical research, and proof-of-concept implementations to evaluate emerging solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
- 6+ years of experience in Cloud and Infrastructure experience, including expertise in cloud computing, virtualisation, and network security
- Strong understanding of Linux, Windows, VMware, and AWS, particularly in storage and backup environments.
- Familiarity with Public Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure) is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and NSX-T.
- Fluency in English and Chinese
