About the Role Lead and formulate the overall PD customer and proposition strategy with both internal teams and external partners, while driving channel-based product strategy and managing segment proposition initiatives to deepen business penetration in bank and broker channels.
Roles and Responsibilities: Channel & Segment Proposition - Develop channel proposition strategy and oversee implementation of product, segment and marketing campaigns to enable business growth
- Maximize data analytics to identify target customer segments and business potentials
- Develop segment strategies and propositions initiatives p across channels to drive business goals
- Provide ad hoc support in projects and initiatives as assigned
Product Strategy & Development - Drive product ideation, design, launch, and optimization of products to meet business needs
- Monitor and analyze the product performance so as to provide strategic product recommendation for business growth and improvement
- Drive internal functions (Pricing, Proposition, Actuarial, Customer, Operations, Marketing, IT etc.) to ensure effective product design and development
- Design and lead implementation of an effective product compensation scheme for various channels to drive desired sales behaviours
- Manage development of effective customer campaigns with performance monitoring and analysis
- Collaborate closely with Business Channels and Proposition for up-to-date market offering analysis to facilitate necessary business actions and strategic planning
- Ensure the sales teams have the necessary product knowledge and training tools to engage customers effectively
Minimum Job Requirements: - Degree holder, preferably major in Business Management / Marketing / Finance / Economics / related field
- Minimum 10 years on business development, product development and sales management in insurance or banking industry, experience in Partnership Distribution model is an added advantage
- Good understanding of insurance product knowledge
- Strong business acumen, good problem-solving and project management skills
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skill
- Team management experience with good leadership skills is preferred
- Effective time management, negotiation and influencing skills
- Good analytical skills and attentive to details
- Good written and spoken English and Chinese
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Literacy in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
