Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the completion and verification of quarterly/annually RBC reports, and monitoring the solvency risks of the company and segregation funds
- Responsible for drafting Asset-Liability Matching (ALM) reports for the company and segregation funds, and monitoring the ALM status accordingly
- Assist in the analysis and reporting of financial results, and prepare various internal and external presentation materials
- Participate in the annual financial budgeting process
- Responsible for the monthly booking and reasonableness analysis under HKFRS 17, ensuring the accuracy of financial statement data
- Responsible for the reconciliation and monthly booking of investment assets
- Responsible for sub-ledger booking under the quarterly RBC framework
- Assist in the implementation of the companys finance automation projects, including investment automation, RBC automation, and IFRS 17 automation initiatives
- Assist in the execution of company rating exercises and prepare relevant rating materials
- Participate in the annual audit work
Experience and Qualifications:
- 6 years or more of work experience
- Proficient in insurance or reinsurance business models and operational models
- Experienced in financial matters related to insurance companies; Proficient in managing multiple tasks concurrently or working across different roles
- Proficient in Hong Kong insurance regulatory rules
- Proficient in IFRS 17
- Self-motivated, independent, with strong organizational and communication skills
- Good command in written and spoken Mandarin and English
- Familiar with accounting system - Oracle is preferred
