About the Role Support the execution of sales and business development strategies by managing key distribution partners, including Singapore based international brokers. Strengthen business relationships, drive sales growth, ensure high standards of service delivery, and maintain full compliance with cross border regulatory requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Assist the Team Leader / Head of Sales in implementing business plans and initiatives in accordance with sales KPIs.
- Identify the needs and demands of individual partners to drive sustainable sales performance.
- Support distribution partners and internal stakeholders in capturing new business opportunities.
- Strengthen and maintain strong business relationships with assigned partners to drive new initiatives.
- Handle day to day partner related matters to ensure a high level of service quality, responsiveness, and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate partners and TRs to ensure delivery of quality, compliant, and consistent business.
- Contribute new ideas and provide market and partner feedback to maintain AIA's competitive proposition.
- Manage and develop strategic relationships with Singapore based international brokers, serving as the key point of contact to deepen collaboration and maximize business opportunities.
- Coordinate case enquiries, product positioning, quotation requirements, and pipeline follow up with Singapore brokers, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with cross border sales standards, Singapore regulatory considerations, and AIA governance requirements.
- Organize and support joint business engagements, including meetings, virtual webinars, marketing activities, and product training tailored for Singapore broker needs.
- Gather market intelligence from Singapore broker channels and provide insights and recommendations to management for proposition enhancement and competitive benchmarking.
Requirements: - University / College graduate with at least 5 years of relevant experience in sales support, distribution management, or partnership management.
- Strong organizing, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good insurance and investment product knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good written and spoken English and Korean and Chinese / Mandarin .
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with international brokers or cross border distribution channels, preferably involving Singapore.
- Understanding of Singapore market dynamics, broker practices, and cross border compliance requirements is an advantage.
- Strong cultural awareness and ability to manage professional communication standards across markets.
Others: - You are preferred to obtain the license of Insurance Authority (IA) (Paper 1, 2, 3 and 5)
- You are required to acquire the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities
