Our client is an exciting start-up asset management firm specializing in structured fixed income products. We are seeking an ambitious and hands-on Portfolio Manager to join the investment team.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a role with significant autonomy. You will not only manage the portfolio but also play a critical role in shaping the funds strategy, building out the investment process, and representing the firm to external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Execution: Independently manage the structured fixed income portfolio, implementing investment strategies that align with client objectives.
- Portfolio Construction: manage liquidity, monitor P&L, and perform scenario analysis and performance attribution.
- Act as a key member of the Investment Committee, contributing to the overall fixed income strategy.
- Manage relationships with third-party counterparties to ensure best execution and actively communicate the funds strategy to investors.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with SFC standards and maintain effective internal controls.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in fixed income fund management. Experience with structured fixed income products is a distinct advantage.
- Current holder of SFC Type 4 & 9 licenses; Responsible Officer (RO) status is highly preferred.
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or related field; CFA designation is a plus.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, and valuation tools. Deep understanding of financial markets, securitized products, and economic theory.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
