About the role

This high-impact role sits at the intersection of customer insight, product innovation and distribution, driving growth across bank and broker channels through data-led segmentation, compelling propositions and end-to-end product ownership.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end product strategy, including ideation, design, launch, optimisation and performance monitoring
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. pricing, actuarial, marketing, operations, IT) to deliver effective, market-ready products
  • Define and lead the overall channel, customer and segment proposition strategy to drive sustainable growth across bank and broker channels
  • Develop and execute data-driven segment strategies, propositions and marketing initiatives to deepen market penetration
  • Design and implement channel-specific product compensation and sales incentive frameworks to influence desired behaviours
  • Lead customer campaigns and analyse performance to inform strategic recommendations and continuous improvement
  • Ensure sales channels are equipped with robust product knowledge, training tools and up-to-date market insights
Requirements
  • Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
  • 10+ years' experience in product strategy within insurance or banking
  • Strong knowledge of life insurance products, with experience in partnership or channel-based distribution preferred
  • Proven ability to lead product ideation, development and optimisation in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with experience influencing senior stakeholders and managing teams
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, with strong presentation and negotiation ability
