What is the opportunity?

As the member of Sales Management, you will report to the Heads of Sales Management and Client Strategy and support the entire RBC Wealth Management Asia. This role sits at the intersection of front-office ambition and operational discipline. You will be part of the forces that drives the strategic growth with data-driven insights, client segmentation strategies, performances and goal monitoring and sales campaigns.

What will you do?
  • Represent the Sales teams in all new product launches, providing feedback to the various product teams during product development through to implementation. Responsible for driving execution of all sales-related work streams.
  • Partner with Marketing team to coordinate clients / prospects' engagement for different events, seasonal gifts as appropriate, surveys and marketing campaigns.
  • Design and manage the sales pipelines and forecasting process to ensure senior management has sufficient information to track and forecast business performance.
  • Align team resources and engage stakeholders to accomplish key priorities and meet management goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships within the organization to inform and resolved issues.
  • Play an active role in the annual budgeting processes for sales teams. Manage metrics to ensure service levels are met and provide consistent updates and communications to team and management.
  • Provide relevant data and analytics to facilitate key decisions on sales performance management.
  • Identify control and process deficiencies, work with functional stakeholder to implement solutions and monitor control reviews.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made. Demonstrate strong and sounds ethical judgement to adhere regulatory and reputational concerns.
  • Identify through financial data analysis opportunities to improve business performance by optimizing revenue and costs (e.g. tail management for small clients).
  • Provide analytical and support for tracking sales initiatives, development and validation of business strategy.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • University degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics or other relevant professional finance qualifications.
  • The role would typically require 5-8 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, business management or management consulting within financial services.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (tableau, excel, ppt) and strong analytical and conceptual skills, strong flavor for number and MIS reporting.
  • Strong understanding of multi-asset classes.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced across KYC/AML/Compliance within private banking.
  • An excellent team player and high adaptability with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide organization and client focus solutions.
  • Language: English (Fluent/Native), Mandarin (Fluent/Business Level), Cantonese (Advantageous)
