Summary Manage the IT infrastructure (Storage, Servers and Database) to ensure the smooth operation of the computer systems applications.
Key Responsibilities - Ensures production environments uptime
- Manages and allocates the resources within the IT infrastructure and production for the provision of quality services. To perform diagnostic, root cause analysis and problem solving of Windows Servers 2016/2019, Linux server , Citrix XenApps , HPE Simplivity, VMware ESX
server, HK Clearing House Faster Payment System, HPE SAN storage etc. - Assists in implementation of new systems/upgrades and provides for necessary staff training
- Evaluates and introduces new third parties' products to improve efficiency, effectiveness and achieve cost saving
- Analyses alternatives vendors, negotiates with and selects vendor for IT equipment and services
- Provides quality advice, and problem management
- Follows up IT audit recommendation
