Poste et missions

The APAC CIB Client Office works across the Business Lines of Natixis CIB to define, develop and optimize the bank's client franchise and improve commercial intensity and efficiency. The Client Office is positioned as an independent partner to the business - amid a strong business development in Asia-Pacific.

The Client Office Vice-President (VP) leads strategic projects and run-mode activities, reporting directly to the Asia Chief Client Officer with 2 main mandates:
  • Client Strategy - Orchestrating a series of strategic and concrete client developments across activities (Global Markets, IB, Real Assets, Global Trade, Portfolio Management, GSH)

  • Client Experience - Driving client feedbacks, monitoring key actions with client-facing teams, and ensuring the complaints framework for improved client experience.

To perform those two mandates, you will be seconded by a team in APAC and have access to the global Client Office team for specific needs on data analysis and reports preparations. You will be working in close relation with the heads of business lines and Senior Country Managers of the region - with a drive for anticipation and actions

Main Responsibilities:

Client Strategy & Animation:
  • Co-Lead the preparation and deployment of APAC client-focused initiatives - across Investment Banking, Real Assets and Global Trade (roadmaps, execution planning, delivery monitoring), with a focus on maximum value-add
  • Support cross-business lines initiatives involving Banking and Global Markets, across APAC and in connection with other platforms; with a regular update to the Senior Management
  • Bring an excellent communication across bankers, RMs to ensure effective plans deployment
  • Co-lead the Client Intensity - including Business Committees, Client Performance, commercial intensity
  • Lead Market Intelligence initiatives to support the business development of the region
  • Co-lead Client Reviews of the critical clients, challenging the commercial intensity, revenues, business pipeline and future ambitions with the Bankers
  • Anticipate needs from Front teams and management, update regularly on client developments
  • Orchestrate financial performance KPIs monitoring and trends reporting, for client portfolio improvements decisions and implementations
  • Manage communication with Front teams and clients whenever required
  • Support directly the business lines heads and the Chief Client Officer in ad-hoc requests

Client Experience - Strategic Customer Relation Management (Strat CRM)
  • Co-lead the APAC client feedbacks on the overall relationship (senior management face-off, commercial services / needs, operational attention points), with key highlights and actions shared to global and regional heads of coverage and business lines
  • Ensure an effective governance is in place for a high-quality service model deployment and client-centric culture at APAC level, with the support functions and business lines teams, for enhanced client experience
  • Lead the Strategic CRM stream, including the monitoring of client complaints and actions to help resolve the issues - in coordination with key departments in APAC and head office

Required Skills:
  • Master's Degree in Finance, Economics or related field - CFA a plus
  • Minimum 5 years+ experience in CIB environment
  • Very good project management experience and presentations quality for senior management
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting - strong ability to present data to pass on the right messages
  • Past experience in supporting business lines teams or senior country manager, facilitating relations with support functions, front teams and clients
  • Past experience in Strategy, Client Strategy, or Business Management is a plus
  • Good understanding of banking activities, product suite and client typologies - experience in business reviews or client reviews is a plus
  • Knowledge of global/APAC Corporates, Financial Institutions and Private Equity firms is valuable - knowledge on Real Assets, IB and Global Trade activities, or Global Markets is also a plus
  • Well versed in connecting and building consensus across departments - exposure to client experience brings a strong advantage
  • Strategic thinker and open minded, capacity to think out of the box to identify new approaches
  • Good motivation skills, accountable, strong ownership
  • Confirmed ability to work collaboratively with business lines and support functions executives, across functions and geographies
  • Communicates clearly and effectively, both orally and in written form, with a capacity to adapt his / her communication to various audiences and levels in the organization
  • Organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize competing demands. Comfortable working in "project" mode
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, with capacity to lead projects effectively
