About the Role

The Attorney Support Specialist is an integral part of Latham's Attorney Support team. This role will be responsible performing a variety of secretarial duties of a confidential nature for attorneys and/or managers while maintaining positive contact with clients, attorneys, and staff at all times. This role will be located in our Hong Kong office.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Working in a global team environment with a real-time work ticketing system (ServiceNow)
  • Draft and manage client billings, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing, and address discrepancies.
  • Daily time entry, expense reimbursement, calendaring/scheduling and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, ensuring accuracy in grammar and spelling.
  • Preserving the confidentiality of ours and our clients' protected information
  • Conduct research and manage conflict check requests and new matter openings

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Display professional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, clients, vendors, and staff throughout the firm
  • Take initiative to work both independently and in a team environment with a customer service focus
  • Can multi-task and adapt to continuously evolving technology platforms

And have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, preferably a bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge and proficiency in PC applications required, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
