Your new company A foreign securities firm is looking for Analyst - Senior Associate to join their Cash Securities Trade Support & Settlement team.
Your new role
Validate and confirm daily cash securities trades (equities, bonds, ETFs) executed by the front office
Monitor trade flow from execution to settlement, ensuring accuracy in booking and reporting
Resolve trade breaks, unmatched trades, and discrepancies with brokers, custodians, and clearing houses
Manage settlement instructions in accordance with market deadlines and regulatory requirements
Liaise with custodians, brokers, and clearing houses to ensure timely settlement of trades
Perform cash and stock reconciliations, investigating and resolving differences promptly
Ensure compliance with internal policies, market regulations, and operational risk standards
Escalate settlement issues, failed trades, and potential risks to management
Participate in system UAT, workflow enhancements, and automation initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline
2-5 years of experience in cash securities operations, trade support, or settlement
Strong knowledge of equities, fixed income, and settlement cycles
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Fluent in English and Cantonese
