Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team in driving continuous enhancements of the Bank Groups enterprise risk management framework, including bank-wide policies, guidelines / procedures and framework, risk appetite, risk delegated authority, risk document framework, ICAAP and so forth.
- Development and maintenance of the bank-wide enterprise risk management, including climate, strategic risk management, new product governance policies, guidelines / procedures and framework, including support articulation of these bank manuals with regard to regulatory requirements as well as align with the Banks risk appetite.
- Act as the risk management function for climate and strategic risk management for the Bank Group, including develop, review, enhance and perform regular risk assessment, monitoring, reporting and escalation.
- Responsible for the risk appetite and control measures, monitor and prepare report on regular basis for the Bank Group, including trend, risk level, incidents or event, and report the result to senior management and other relevant parties or Committees.
- Collaborate with relevant risk teams to compile consolidated information including developing presentation materials to provide holistic overview of RMG.
- Upholding the new product governance and approval process, to ensure that the Banks launches risk-assessed and sound products and services.
- Co-ordinate the New Product Committee (“NPCâ€) and New Product Sub-Committee (“NPSCâ€) to ensure that all new products and services launched have been properly assessed and approved.
- Provide other support as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management or related disciplines.
- Holder of ECF-CORP and ECF-AGFP(ClimRM) qualification will be an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years hands on experience in front line, product development, risk management, compliance, internal audit duties or roles involving implementation and monitoring of internal controls within the banking sector.
- Experience in risk policy formulation, risk appetite, ICAAP and related regulations and controls.
- Experience in coordination of Board and risk committees.
- Self-motivated, detail-minded, organized and able to work independently.
- Good PC, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
