Your new company A fast-growing retail/e-commerce business in Hong Kong scaling its omnichannel platform across web, mobile and cloud vacross APAC.
Your new role You will be expected to shape the architecture, lead mobile and application teams, and deliver scalable web/mobile experiences powered by Shopify + AWS.
- Define architecture roadmap and drive key technical decisions.
- Lead delivery across web (React/Next) and mobile (React Native iOS/Android).
- Set engineering standards (CI/CD, DevOps, secure coding) and uplift quality via reviews.
- Own AWS cloud design (IaC, containers) for reliability and cost efficiency.
- Partner with product/stakeholders to align outcomes and timelines.
What you'll need to succeed - 10+ years; 3+ years in lead/architect roles on distributed systems.
- Retail/e-commerce + Shopify integrations expertise.
- Strong JS/TS hands-on; cloud-native patterns; AWS + IaC; containers.
- Great communication; English required; Chinese languages preferred.
