Your new company A global banking group is seeking an Operations Officer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of renewal.
Your new role - Provide top-tier service delivery to clients, ensuring a high standard of customer experience.
- Support the Team Head in overseeing daily workflows related to derivatives and equity products, such as processing early option exercises, handling derivatives expiries, managing corporate actions, coordinating ETF transactions, and preparing funding forecasts.
- Assist the Manager in supervising and reviewing cash and position reconciliation reports for exchanges, affiliates, and broker-executed trades to maintain reporting accuracy.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve breaks and exceptions, while determining the underlying root causes behind any discrepancies.
What you'll need to succeed - 2+ years of relevant banking operations experience.
- Degree holder or above in business, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
- Prior exposure to DCASS and CCASS systems is considered an advantage.
- Background in supporting Equity and ETF products and related business operations is highly valued.
- Exhibits strong analytical ability with a clear interest in data, reconciliation, and process oversight.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
