Job Summary: The Head of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) sits within the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) department, which is a second line of defense function in the HKEX Group. This role will be responsible for leading, enhancing and maintaining the TPRM Framework, coordinating with first line business owners to ensure compliance to the Group's standards throughout the third-party risk management lifecycle.
Job Duties: Key Responsibilities - Lead, support and review the Group's TPRM Framework and tracking of its effectiveness, and monitor its compliance in accordance with the Group's risk appetite;
- Review and improve existing TPRM processes, tools and systems, and ensure that they are established with clear and appropriate controls;
- Define and evaluate TPRM-related metrics/ Key Risk indicators (KRIs) that could monitor third party risks and the health of TPRM lifecycle;
- Ensure appropriate documentation of TPRM practices and governance within the Group, through policies and procedures;
- Collaborate closely with first line of defense business owners (e.g. Procurement, IT, etc.) to perform and support the end-to-end TPRM lifecycle activities;
- Conduct regular/ thematic compliance reviews on business units' risk assessments, due diligence and in-service reviews to identify possible risks; recommend solutions to address control weaknesses, and monitor the implementation progress of the remedial actions;
- Facilitate with key stakeholders regarding business continuity planning and strategies across the vendor portfolio;
- Support company-wide training to promote TPRM standard and requirements;
- Monitor and respond to changes in the external environment or vendor portfolio with potential impact to HKEX services;
- Monitor regulatory direction, market trends and global best practices and implement as appropriate within the Group.
Job Requirements - 10+ years of relevant working experience in third-party risk management, with relevant experience in one or more of the following: risk management, supplier management, outsourcing relations and governance, and procurement;
- Extensive knowledge of the third-party management processes to improve existing framework for "best in class" solutions;
- People management experience
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent project management skills with meticulous attention to details;
- Highly motivated team player with the ability to work independently and focus on delivery;
- Good understanding of risk management and sensitive to emerging third party risks;
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is an advantage
