Your new role
As the Team Lead of Enterprise Risk Management, you will oversee the development, enhancement and implementation of the bank's climate‑related risk frameworks, governance processes, and regulatory reporting deliverables. You will lead HKMA climate‑related submissions under SPM GS‑1 and GS‑2, coordinate enterprise‑wide climate risk assessments, and work closely with senior stakeholders on climate stress testing, scenario analysis, transition planning and risk appetite setting. You will provide subject‑matter guidance to lines of business, uplift climate risk capabilities across the bank, and support broader ERM initiatives including policy development, risk monitoring and board‑level reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience in ERM, climate risk, ESG risk or sustainability‑related risk management within financial services
- Solid understanding of HKMA SPM GS‑1/GS‑2, IFRS/ISSB standards, climate stress testing, and regulatory disclosure expectations
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional risk projects and engage senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with experience in climate scenario analysis or transition risk methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical risk insights into strategic recommendations
