The Chinese investment bank is looking for a highly skilled Counterparty Risk team lead to join their dynamic team. Your new role

As the Assistant Director and Team Lead for Counterparty Risk, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the bank's CCR framework, including risk methodologies, governance, and policy standards. You will oversee counterparty credit assessments, monitor exposures, and lead the end‑to‑end process of CCR limit setting and review. You will also manage team workloads, provide technical coaching, and partner closely with front office, credit, risk analytics and senior management to ensure robust risk oversight across trading and banking book exposures. Your role will be pivotal in uplifting CCR analytics, strengthening reporting capabilities and contributing to the bank's broader enterprise risk initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong experience in counterparty credit risk management within a banking environment
  • Proven knowledge of CCR framework development, exposure measurement, and limit setting
  • Familiarity with derivatives, SFTs, market risk concepts and risk modelling practices
  • Ability to lead a small team, manage stakeholders and provide technical CCR guidance
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with senior management and front‑office teams
