Responsibilities

  • Develop the firm's operational frameworks, policies, and procedures covering trade settlement, account management, fund valuation, and overall fund administration. Ensure all enhancements align with applicable regulatory standards, including CSRC requirements.
  • Manage daily cash movements and settlement instructions to support smooth and timely trade execution.
  • Supervise settlement workflows with external institutions and custodian banks, ensuring system stability, minimizing operational risk, and continuously improving settlement capabilities to support business expansion.
  • Protect client assets held in custody in accordance with regulatory rules. Ensure strict adherence to AML and legal requirements when processing deposits, withdrawals, and transfers to prevent compliance breaches.
  • Work closely with Middle Office, Legal & Compliance, Risk Management, ALM, and Front Office teams to enhance collaboration, streamline processes, and improve overall operational efficiency.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience in licensed operations or fund administration within brokerages, investment banks, or private fund management firms.
  • Strong technical knowledge of settlement platforms such as CCASS, iBoss, and Clearstream XACT, along with hands‑on familiarity with custody and market infrastructure operations.
  • Deep understanding of investment banking, direct investment, asset management, and related financial products.
  • Proven leadership capability with experience guiding teams through both routine and ad‑hoc internal and external tasks.
  • High level of accountability, strong analytical and logical thinking, resilience under pressure, and excellent communication skills. Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English is required.
