Your new role - Overseeing all aspects of corporate tax compliance across the Group, including the preparation, review and submission of tax filings.
- Reviewing Group-level tax provisions and ensuring accurate reporting in accordance with accounting standards.
- Developing, evaluating and implementing tax strategies to enhance overall financial performance and support long-term business objectives.
- Leading BEPS 2.0 readiness and planning initiatives, including impact assessments, operational alignment and compliance implementation (e.g., Pillar Two global minimum tax).
- Ensuring full compliance with both local and international tax regulations, as well as monitoring emerging global tax standards affecting the Group.
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and analysing their financial and operational implications.
- Managing transfer pricing matters, including policy formulation, documentation preparation, value chain analysis and intercompany pricing reviews.
- Directing tax audits and resolving tax-related queries or disputes efficiently while safeguarding the Group's interests.
- Driving enhancements to the Group's tax technology and reporting systems to improve accuracy, automation and workflow efficiency across jurisdictions.
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, business units) and external advisers (tax authorities, consultants, auditors) to ensure alignment of tax positions and strategic priorities.
What you'll need to succeed - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Qualified Accountant (HKICPA, ACCA or other recognised professional accounting bodies) is a must.
- 15 years of relevant experience, Big 4 is a definite advantage.
- Strong knowledge of BEPS 2.0 and CbC Report
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Detail-oriented, highly organised, able to work independently with strong multitasking skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Immediate availability is highly preferred.
