We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Creative Producer.

In this role you will:
  • Produce best in class, high-quality, high impact on-brand content for use across HSBC's external and internal channels (Group social media channels, hsbc.com and others).
  • Can work with the in-house team or in collaboration with our agency partners.
  • Participate in shoots in Hong Kong and overseas, filming with customers, colleagues and senior executives.
  • Creatively film and edit video projects to the high standards of the content team, including selecting programme format for final output, capturing/importing media, organising raw media, video editing using the Adobe creative cloud suite, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, editing music/voice-over/SFX/subtitles, media management and archiving project media.
  • Maintain agency relationships to ensure alignment across technical specifications and Branding guidelines.
  • Work with procurement, legal, cyber security and risk teams, being prepared to own and manage risk where necessary.
  • Ability to manage content production projects in collaboration with the Senior Creative Producer and collaborate with other teams to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Ability to instil understanding and respect for HSBC's strategy, identity and values in team members.
  • Take personal ownership of video production from identification of great stories through to the production of content to the final stage of appropriate distribution across our network of channels.
  • Develop constructive working relationships with subject matter experts across the business.
  • Promote the sharing of knowledge and best practices across the Group.
  • Personally demonstrate strong adherence to HSBC's values.


To be successful you will need:
  • An excellent and distinctively authentic shooting style, coupled with a strong artistic sense and expert-level experience using DSLR/SONY cameras, specifically the A7S/R or FS5/FX6.
  • Ability to use high production value lighting to enhance single/multi camera interview setups.
  • Post-production video editing skills with an emphasis on Adobe Premiere Pro. After Effects skills would be a bonus.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Knowledge of social media video publishing and digital media industry trends an advantage.
  • Must have the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve them in concert with the rest of the team.
  • Familiar with audio formats and audio editing.
  • Familiarity with video compression and versioning for multiple delivery platforms.
  • Excellent command of English/Cantonese, Mandarin skills would be an advantage.
