Working with institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, governments, and multinational corporations, this team covers fund administration, global custody, sub-custody and clearing, and corporate trust and loan agency services.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Product Director - Digital Custody.

Role Overview:

The Product Director, Digital Custody, will be responsible for the commercialisation and strategic growth of our digital custody offering. This senior role will lead client engagement, shape the product roadmap, and drive the development and implementation of innovative custody solutions for digital assets. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to ensure the product meets market needs, regulatory requirements, and delivers commercial value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercialisation - Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the digital custody product, including market positioning, client segmentation, and revenue generation plans.


  • Client Engagement - Lead client meetings to understand their needs, gather feedback, and build strong relationships. Use insights to inform product development and growth strategy.


  • Product Roadmap - Define and maintain the product roadmap, prioritising features and enhancements based on client feedback, market trends, and business objectives.


  • Legal & Compliance - Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate regulatory requirements, ensuring the product is compliant and risk-managed.


  • Operating Model - Design and refine the operating model for digital custody, including processes, controls, and service delivery standards.


  • Pricing Analysis - Conduct market and competitive analysis to define pricing strategies that maximise commercial value while remaining competitive.


  • Implementation - Work closely with Product Delivery and Technology teams to ensure successful implementation and rollout of the digital custody offering to clients.


  • Stakeholder Management - Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, to communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and training to the wider product management team, upskilling them to embrace the industry change and opportunities
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports and analysis on product performance, client feedback, and market developments.


Role Requirements:

  • Digital Assets experience as well as a background in Custody with wider knowledge of securities services products such as Transfer Agency and Fund Administration.
  • Strong commercial acumen and track record of successfully launching and scaling products.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to lead discussions, understand client needs, and build trusted relationships.
  • Experience in product management or product development within financial services.
  • Strong connectivity with regulators and industry parties on related matters, with exposure on digital assets initiatives
  • Strong project management skills, with experience working cross-functionally to deliver complex products.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to blockchain, digital assets, or fintech products.
  • Knowledge of custody regulations and market practices.
  • Experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
