My client is aprestigue private bank with long history supporting withHNW/UHNW clients. As the bank is rapidly expecting, they are now seeking an experienced Assistant Relationship Manager to join their team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong operational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of private banking processes. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with RMs, gain deeper exposure to investment solutions, and contribute to client relationship development.
Responsibilities
- Support RMs with daily client enquiries and relationship maintenance.
- Handle account opening, KYC/AML reviews, documentation updates, and compliance requirements.
- Process client instructions including payments, transfers, deposits, and investment transactions.
- Prepare portfolio reviews, investment proposals, and meeting materials.
- Liaise with product, operations, compliance, and credit teams to ensure efficient execution.
- Monitor client portfolios and highlight opportunities or issues to RMs.
- Assist in business development activities and client presentation materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in private banking or wealth management.
- HKSI Papers 1, 7, 8
- Strong understanding of HKMA/SFC regulations and KYC/AML procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail; able to multitask.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin preferred.
