Your new company
- A global logistics enterprise with its regional headquarters based in Hong Kong, providing IT support to approximately 100 office users as well as multiple warehouse operations.
Your new role
- Maintain regular operational reporting to the Head of IT
- Build and maintain monitoring tools for hardware, network, and cloud services (Azure & AWS)
- Support cloud migration and collaborate with the cloud operations team
- Configure logs, alerts, and exception handling
- Manage installation, upgrades, and lifecycle of hardware and software
- Evaluate new technologies and prepare proposals for improvement
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on technology implementation
- Enforce IT security policy, data privacy requirements, and access controls
- Handle procurement of equipment for office and remote users
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members
- Oversee capacity planning, backup, and disaster recovery procedures
What you'll need to succeed
Substantial knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure planning, administration and operations, preferably with managerial experience in tertiary institutions;
- Solid and comprehensive experience in networking and data management is desirable;
- Profound leadership, independent and proactive with good analytical and problem-solving skills; and
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficient in both English and Chinese.
