Job Title: Associate Director - Digital Custody
Location: Hong Kong
Role Overview: The Associate Director, Digital Custody, will support the commercialisation and growth of our digital custody product offering. Working closely with the Product Director and cross-functional teams, this role will engage with clients, contribute to the product roadmap, assist in navigating legal and compliance requirements, and help define the operating model and pricing strategies. The Associate Director will play a key role in the successful delivery and implementation of digital custody solutions.
Key Responsibilities: - Client Engagement: Support client meetings to gather requirements, present product capabilities, and collect feedback to inform product development.
- Product Roadmap: Assist in shaping and maintaining the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with client needs, market trends, and business objectives.
- Legal & Compliance: Work with legal and compliance teams to understand regulatory impacts and ensure product adherence to relevant standards.
- Operating Model: Contribute to the design and refinement of the operating model, including documentation of processes and controls.
- Pricing Analysis: Support market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing strategies and commercial decisions.
- Implementation: Collaborate with Product Delivery and Technology teams to facilitate the rollout and implementation of digital custody solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal stakeholders to communicate product updates, gather input, and ensure alignment across teams.
- Support with training to wider product management team, upskilling them to embrace the industry change and opportunities.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports and analysis on product performance, client feedback, and market developments.
Role Requirements: - Experience in product management, product development, or business analysis within financial services, ideally with exposure to digital assets or custody.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to support client discussions and build relationships.
- Understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance considerations in digital asset custody.
- Analytical skills for market research and pricing analysis.
- Experience supporting project delivery and working cross-functionally.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications: - Exposure to blockchain, digital assets, or fintech products.
- Experience of custody regulations and market practices as well as wider securities services products such as Transfer Agency and Fund Administration.
- Experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
