Job Summary:
The Trading Operations team supports effective day-to-day operation and continuous enhancement of the exchange's trading operations. The role focuses on ensuring market stability, operational resilience, and high service standards through close collaboration with internal stakeholders, market participants, and external vendors.

The successful candidate will work on supporting daily trading operations as well as driving the improvement of operational efficiency with innovation and latest technologies.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:
  • Support daily trading operations to maintain market and platform stability and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with technology, clearing, risk management, and surveillance teams to resolve operational issues and implement system or process enhancements.
  • Drive innovation and transformation within the team's workflows by overseeing and actively participating in the implementation of automation solutions utilizing a range of tools and technologies.
  • Participate in the development, review, and maintenance of operational procedures, controls, and service-level standards.
  • Manage operational incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive remediation actions to strengthen system robustness and risk controls.
  • Support regulatory compliance activities, including audits, control assessments, and responses to regulatory inquiries.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to team capability development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in well-established financial institutions.
  • Sound knowledge of securities and/or derivatives markets and end-to-end trading workflows.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge in automation tools and process improvement activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure with strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with good command of English and Chinese, while proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage.
  • Candidates with less relevant experience may be considered for appointment at a more junior level.
