Position Summary:
We are seeking a driven Investor Relations Associate/VP to spearhead fundraising initiatives focused on private credit and private equity strategies for institutional clients in Japan. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of alternative investment vehicles and the Japanese financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies tailored for institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, and endowments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective institutional clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing their investment needs.
- Prepare and present customized marketing materials, including pitchbooks and performance presentations, to effectively communicate investment strategies and fund performance.
- Collaborate with internal investment teams to align fundraising efforts with market insights and product offerings.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform fundraising strategies and enhance client engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or financial services, with a focus on private credit and private equity.
- Strong communication skills in Japanese and English, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to cultivate relationships with institutional clients and navigate complex investment landscapes.
- In-depth knowledge of private credit and private equity investments, including structuring and strategies.
