Performance Office, COO Office

Performance Services (also known as CAO Office) is the engine room of the COO Office, providing dedicated, forward-thinking, and strategic operational management support. We lead and coordinate teams across the COO Office to drive staff engagement, operational support, budget planning & cost management, management information, and business administration. Our mission is to enable the COO Office to deliver on its strategic priorities, foster a collaborative culture, and ensure operational excellence across the bank.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join us as Operational Management Manager, to manage and drive business management in COO office and oversee staff engagement and upskilling programs in COO office.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive people strategies as well as manage management trainee program within the COO Office.
  • Manage staff engagement activities, including townhalls, offsite events, and other initiatives that foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
  • Lead and manage business management initiatives for the COO Office and broader business, championing innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uplift staff soft skills, including Management Trainee programme administration and upskilling initiatives.
Requirements
  • University degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field; relevant business experience is also valued.
  • At least 10 years' experience in the banking industry, with a strong background in driving people strategy and engagement.
  • Proven leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in risk management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Growth mindset and resilience to embrace change, overcome challenges, and foster creativity and connectivity.
  • Strong sense of ownership and a service-oriented approach to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
