We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Digital Platforms Governance Manager.

In this role you will:
  • Lead Project Management & Delivery: Drive progress on North Star, a large and complex programme. You'll influence project plans, build stakeholder buy-in, and balance scope, budget, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with teams across multiple geographies, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to keep everyone aligned and on track.
  • Governance & Risk Management: Establish project controls, manage RAIDs, and oversee resources, ensuring everything aligns with HSBC's standards. You'll play a crucial role in progress reporting and decision-making processes.
  • Portfolio Management and MI reporting: Maintain consistent communication across internal and external governance committees to support the effective and high-quality delivery of reports.
  • Collaborate with the Transformation Office: Engage in a variety of change initiatives alongside the Central Transformation Office, maintaining oversight and driving project excellence.
  • Resource & Financial Management: Keep a live view of roles and vacancies across the programme, supporting recruitment efforts, and ensuring our financials are up to date. You'll also prepare executive updates and work to secure additional funding where needed.


To be successful you will need:
  • 5+ years' experience in project-management roles in the financial services industry, prior experience in a management consultancy role will be a definite advantage.
  • Strong project management skills within the context of a large / complex change programme. Professional project manager certifications and prior experience in technology related change is not required but will be considered an advantage.
  • Prior experience with Agile and/or Traditional methods of delivery.
  • Proven experience in working in a cross functional matrix environment with market and global teams.
  • Very strong communication skills - both in verbal and written form - with the ability to write executive level reports and compile high-quality presentation packs for C-suite level consumption.
