Your new company A foreign wholesale bank is looking for Associate to join their Capital Markets, FICC Trade Support Team.
Your new role
Oversee capture, matching, confirmation, and validation of Capital Markets products (Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC), FX Options, IR Derivatives, Commodities, Bonds and Equities) in trading systems.
Supervise reconciliation and trade matching processes to confirm accuracy with counterparties, brokers, and clearinghouses.
Escalate unmatched trades and resolve discrepancies promptly to avoid settlement delays.
Monitor and manage lifecycle events including resets, novations, terminations, and corporate actions.
Ensure timely processing of margin calls, collateral movements, and variation margin requirements.
Identify, escalate, and resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and potential operational risks.
Act as the primary liaison between trading desks, sales, middle office, settlements, and compliance teams.
Participate in system UAT, workflow enhancements, and automation initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline
3-4 years of experience in Capital Markets products trade support, or settlement
Strong knowledge of equities, fixed income, and settlement cycles
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Fluent in English and Cantonese
