ECM Syndicate, Director/ED

Role

• Lead equity capital markets (ECM) syndication activities for Hong Kong-listed and overseas equity offerings, including IPOs, placings, block trades, rights issues, and convertible bonds.
• Manage deal execution from pre-marketing to pricing, allocation, and settlement.
• Coordinate with issuers, sales, research, legal, and compliance teams to ensure smooth and timely execution.
• Drive investor engagement, gather market feedback, and position transactions to institutional investors.
• Provide strategic input on deal structure, valuation, marketing strategy, and market conditions.
• Mentor junior syndicate members and support overall ECM franchise development.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-12 years of ECM syndicate experience within a Chinese or international investment bank.
• Strong execution capability across IPOs, placings, and equity-linked products.
• Deep understanding of institutional investor behavior and Hong Kong/China capital markets.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and decision-making skills under time pressure.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deals and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Mandarin and English fluency required.
