Rehabilitation Therapist / Rehabilitation Officer My client, a financial institution, is seeking a Personal Rehabilitation Therapist to provide 1:1 rehabilitation and maintenance programs to their founder. Frequent travel may be required.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide professional rehabilitation services, including chronic pain management (e.g., neck, shoulder, lower-back, and leg pain), joint care, sleep improvement, stress relief, and mild metabolic conditioning.
- Develop customised 1:1 rehabilitation and maintenance programs for conditions such as osteoporosis, joint degeneration, poor circulation, and muscle pain.
- Conduct non-invasive techniques before and after training sessions, including hot therapy, massage, muscle relaxation, traction, and exercise instruction.
- Provide professional guidance on using appropriate fitness or rehabilitation equipment.
- Develop and implement safe, effective, and individualised training programs.
- Assess clients' physical conditions and provide appropriate treatment plans.
- Guide clients through exercises and recovery techniques.
- Track client progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary.
- Deliver therapy, chiropractic, sports massage, or wellness-related services as needed.
Job Requirements
- Recognised qualification or certification in Rehabilitation Therapy. Registered Physiotherapist is preferred.
- Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Therapy, Clinical Medicine, Physiotherapy, Acupuncture & Tuina, Sports Science, or related disciplines.
- Strong communication skills with empathy and the ability to clearly explain treatment principles.
- Able to communicate in Putonghua; proficiency in Cantonese and English is an advantage.
- Patient, attentive, and able to provide professional guidance.
- Frequent travel might be required depending on client needs.
- Experience serving high-end clients or providing personal-trainer-style services is preferred.
- Proactive, responsible, and able to build good rapport with clients.
