On behalf of an international commercial bank we are looking for a client services officer. This role acts a support to the Relationship Management team and you will be responsible for delivering excellent services to both RMs and clients in order to ensure all functions are performed in line with the internal controls and procedures as well as helping to strengthen client relationships.
Salary: HKD 25,000 to HKD 40,000 per month depending on seniority.
Role:
- Work with RMs to strengthen relationships by understanding client needs, proactively delivering relevant banking solutions, and resolving transactional, system, and account-opening issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams—including credit, compliance, operations, and trade finance—to coordinate and resolve operational matters efficiently.
- Manage E-Banking onboarding and transaction growth; follow up on overdues, compliance, and coordinate trade processing.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation across credit, legal, and AML during client onboarding.
- Re-engage inactive clients to generate business.
- Maintain accurate records of client transactions, and service requests, and produce reports for management.
Requirements:
- 1-4 years commercial banking (front office or operations) experience
- Knowledge in trade finance and the wider commercial banking environment.
- Both English and Cantonese (oral and written) are required for this role.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar.
- Candidates with more experience may also be considered as Senior Client Services Officer / Client Services Manager.
