We are recruiting a Director/Executive Director level asset management professional with a proven track record of fund raising and AUM growth. The role focuses on institutional client development and market expansion in Southeast Asia, Korea, and Europe.

The Role

  • Originate and develop new business with major institutional investors and global collaborators in assigned offshore markets.
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and idea generation through pitching and client onboarding, structuring customised investment solutions.
  • Deepen relationships with existing institutional clients, providing high-touch coverage and identifying opportunities to grow AUM .
  • Execute strategic business development and marketing initiatives to strengthen the firms institutional presence in Southeast Asia, Korea, and Europe.
  • Partner closely with investment, product, client solutions, compliance and operations teams to ensure seamless client experience and delivery.

Candidate Profile

  • 8–15+ years of institutional sales or investment-related experience within asset management or financial services, with a strong record in raising institutional assets.
  • Proven experience building institutional client bases and opening new geographic markets, with solid understanding of offshore institutional and regulatory landscapes.
  • Prior coverage of Southeast Asia, and/or Korea, and/or European institutional investors is highly preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills, with the gravitas to engage senior decision-makers and consultants.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline; MBA or CFA (or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin ; Korean or another Asian/European language is an advantage.
  • Highly self-driven, proactive and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
