The FAAS Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end processing of premium financing applications, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance. Key responsibilities include:

(A) Client Engagement
Able to explain processes, communicate application status, and resolve client inquiries.

(B) Application Management
Guiding clients through applications, ensuring complete and accurate documentation (forms, Letters of Offer, Deeds of Assignment, Notice of Assignment). This includes reviewing and evaluating applications, conducting preliminary credit assessments, risk analysis, and compliance checks for seamless processing.

(C) Credit Approval
Facilitating credit approval by preparing and submitting documentation and liaising with underwriting and loan approval teams.

(D) Loan Documentation
Preparing and ensuring proper execution of loan and security documents.

(E) Disbursement & Activation
Coordinating with relevant teams for loan disbursement and facility activation.

(F) Post-Acceptance
Managing post-acceptance activities, including collecting policy documents and verifying premium amounts with insurers.

(G) Ongoing Monitoring
Monitoring existing loans, managing collateral and margin calls, and working with Front Office teams to regularize shortfalls.

(H) Problem Resolution
Addressing and resolving issues related to applications, loan servicing, and customer queries.

(I) Process Improvement
Identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to enhancing workflows and systems.

(J)Broker & Insurer Liaison

Engaging with brokers and insurers to build relationships, explore business initiatives, collect feedback, and stay informed on market trends.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Successful and compliant processing of insurance premium financing applications from client engagement to loan disbursement and activation.
  2. Accurate and complete documentation for all applications, ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  3. Effective facilitation of credit approval and timely loan disbursement.
  4. Proactive management and monitoring of existing loans, collateral, and margin calls.
  5. High level of client satisfaction through clear communication and efficient problem resolution.
  6. Contribution to process improvements and enhanced workflows for premium financing.
  7. Strong relationships with brokers and insurers, supporting business initiatives and market intelligence.

Relevant Experience
  1. Strong knowledge of life insurance products, credit facilities, and financial regulations.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to analyze complex financial information and make informed decisions.
  4. Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
