Sound like you? Then read on. About the Role Responsible for conveying front-office commercial intent as clear, executable instructions to the back office, ensuring operational accuracy and efficiency, risk control, and effective coordination across teams
Responsibilities: - Prepare and support employee benefits checklist preparation for Account Executives by translating the sales offers into accurate, complete operational inputs on checklists
- Support the ongoing review of the end-to-end employee benefits checklist process with key stakeholders by providing operational feedback, documenting user requirements and change requests for IT on workflow enhancements.
- Review supplementary documents to identify gaps, discrepancies, and missing information and follow up with Intermediaries/Account Executives/ Underwriters/Middle Office
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, e.g. Account Executives, Underwriters, Middle Office, Corporate Client Services, etc. to clarify requirements and resolve issues to eliminate ambiguity and inconsistencies
- Maintain and update a sign-off governance framework with log, including maintaining appropriate approval records of each checklist from all required parties (e.g. Underwriters & Account Executives)
- Act as a key go-to-person to address enquiries related to the checklists
- Liaise with Account Executives and the Middle Office to keep the benefit version of the proposal current, accurately reflecting all agreed commercial and operational changes
- Ensure the checklist is kept current in the administration system with a detailed change log
- Inform and align the key changes on checklists to the impacted stakeholders in a timely manner
- Support pre-checklist activities e.g. AML pre-screening
- Support the Middle Office team for BAU operations, particularly during peak seasons and when necessary
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned to support Middle Office objectives.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree with over 5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Solutions/Employee Benefits/Operations, or related field
- Prior experience in Middle Office or Sales Support roles in insurance or financial services industry preferred
- Prior experience as a people manager in Insurance Operations or Middle Office preferred
- Operational mindset: Able to translate front-end sales languages into executable operational instructions; Proactively anticipate and address potential blockers to operations caused by incorrect or missing input
- Sales familiarity: Understand the Employee Benefits products, sales offers and requirements
- Stakeholder management: Coordinate cross-functionally, resolve conflicts, and follow up proactively with key stakeholders
- Detail orientation: Quickly identify gaps, discrepancies, and inconsistencies of input across different sources
- Problem-solving ability: Proactively address challenges and propose solutions
- Strong communication skills: Able to articulate issues clearly and collaborate across teams
- Quality-driven: Commit to delivering accurate, complete, and high-quality outputs
- Time management:Handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
