Role Overview The Manager, Distribution Risk Control, is responsible for overseeing and managing risk control processes within the Distribution Department of Hang Seng Insurance. This role ensures that all distribution activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, safeguarding the company ' s reputation and operational integrity.
Principal Responsibilities - Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of risk control frameworks and procedures for distribution channels, ensuring alignment
with established policies. - Assist in monitoring and assessing risks associated with distribution activities, escalating potential issues and contributing to the development of mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and help enhance the end-to-end insurance application process, identifying opportunities for efficiency and compliance improvements.
- Participate in regular reviews and audits of distribution processes, preparing documentation and supporting compliance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams - including Compliance, Legal, and Operations - to address risk-related matters and contribute to business objectives.
- Prepare draft risk assessment reports and support the presentation of findings to senior management, including actionable recommendations for improvement.
- ssist in the review and implementation of product development, product enhancement, process transformation, and customer journey initiatives in partnership with the Product Development Team.
- Foster effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and branches to support the smooth rollout of streamlining initiatives and journey enhancements, incorporating feedback from branch escalations and customer input.
Requirements - University degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in sales process and planning, ideally with exposure to the banking or financial services industry.
- Detail-oriented with a creative mindset; self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude.
- Good business acumen and marketing sense, with excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills. Proficient in using application software.
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese and/or Putonghua
