Key Responsibilities
Client Coverage & Relationship Management
- Develop and grow strategic relationships with international hedge funds, multi‑strategy platforms, global asset managers, sovereign entities, and other key institutional clients.
- Act as primary contact for clients on credit and macro products, ensuring high service levels and continuous engagement.
- Understand client mandates, investment styles, and risk parameters to position suitable trade ideas and market solutions.
Sales & Execution
- Originate, pitch, and execute trade ideas across credit (cash & derivatives), rates, FX, macro products, and structured solutions.
- Drive revenue generation through active flow engagement and idea-driven client interaction.
- Coordinate with trading, research, structuring, and capital markets to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
Market Intelligence & Product Expertise
- Stay on top of global macro themes, credit market developments, primary markets, central bank actions, and geopolitical drivers.
- Provide clients with timely market commentary, trade recommendations, and risk‑reward analysis.
- Support syndicate and research teams in distributing new issues and strategic content.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with trading desks to manage client flows, provide feedback on positioning, and improve execution quality.
- Collaborate with research and strategy teams to leverage views into actionable client ideas.
- Partner with compliance, legal, and operations teams to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience
- 7-12+ years of experience in credit sales, macro sales, or institutional client coverage, ideally within an investment bank or major sell-side institution.
- Existing strong relationships with global hedge funds and international asset managers (Tier 1 & 2 platforms preferred).
- Demonstrated track record of revenue generation and client wallet growth.
Skills
- Strong product knowledge in credit (IG/HY), EM credit, credit derivatives, rates, FX, and macro thematic trading.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex market themes clearly.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and pursue revenue opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of portfolio construction and risk metrics.
