Key Responsibilities:
- Originate and develop business with prospective clients on the YEN Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) or North Asian IRS desk.
- Act as the primary agency sales broker for YEN IRS / North Asian IRS, generating business, cultivating existing relationships, and creating innovative trade ideas including trade generation and execution.
- Provide timely and accurate agency broking and sales services to senior portfolio managers at hedge funds, ALM desks at banks, and other institutional clients across Asia.
- Lead end-to-end client relationship management with a focus on increasing profitability for existing and prospective clients.
- Drive revenue generation and grow wallet share for the YEN IRS / North Asian IRS desk.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of banking sales experience, specifically dealing with financial services clients (hedge funds, banks, asset managers) in Asia.
- Proven track record and established, long-standing client relationships with hedge funds, ALM desks, portfolio managers, asset managers, and market makers.
- Strong ability to generate creative new ideas for trade generation and execution.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong drive to build and grow a desk/business.
- Good team player who can also work independently.
- Able to prioritize, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Candidate with less experience but proactive and sales-driven mindset will be considered.
