Job Summary: This is a position in the Trading Development team in supporting Trading projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and resilience of the Hong Kong securities / Stock Connect / derivatives markets.

Job Duties: Responsibilities: - Strategic Development: Involve in the execution and implementation of HKEX's strategic initiatives including Hong Kong market structure (cash & derivatives) projects to bolster liquidity and uphold market integrity in alignment with revenue goals and regulatory mandates.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market and policy research relating to market development for the execution of strategic projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and nurture relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including IT teams, Exchange Participants, regulators, mainland counterparts, and industry bodies, ensuring seamless communication, feedback, and collaboration.
- Project Management: Support project execution including project planning, budgeting, and execution; with materials preparation in English and Chinese.
Requirements: - Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in English is essential; proficiency in spoken Chinese (Cantonese and, or Mandarin) and written Chinese is beneficial.
- Strong presentation and lobbying skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Proactive, meticulous, and adept at building effective relationships across various stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Social Science, Journalism or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with a focus on capital markets. Candidates with a background in finance, sales and trading, consulting, research, journalism are highly desirable.
